Our on-line bidding now goes through an on-line company called BIDSPOTTER.COM -- if you previously visited our on-line bidding platform when we used the ProxyBid company, you now need to enter our site through BIDSPOTTER.COM in order to see our on-line bidding and to partake in our auction. You can refresh your history or delete your cookies which take you to the incorrect on-line auction company. You can also just go to BIDSPOTTER.COM and join our auction directly there.
READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR ON-LINE OR ABSENTEE BIDDING:
You should register as a BIDSPOTTER bidder prior to the actual auction date. Don't wait until auction day to get signed up !!!
We are partnering with BIDSPOTTER to allow our customers who are unable to attend the auction in person the opportunity to bid via a live simulcast of our auction as it is happening here.
The best way to buy at our auction is to attend the auction in person. There are many advantages for you to actually attend the auctions in person, rather than buying via on-line or absentee bidding.
Due to fees charged by the on-site auction host company, on-line bidders pay a 15% buyers premium instead of the 10% buyers premium for on-site bidders.
Attending the auction in person not only allows you to save 5% on the buyers premium, but gives you the ability to inspect the items up for auction in person prior to bidding. Also, the items that arrive at the auction facility the day of the auction will not be available for internet bidding. ABOUT 30% OF THE ITEMS SOLD AT THE AUCTION ARRIVE AUCTION MORNING, AND DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS, THESE ITEMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE THROUGH ON-LINE OR ABSENTEE BIDDING. We sell hundreds of parts, clothing and accessories at the auction site on auction morning. None of these parts/accessories/clothing are avaliable for on-line or absentee bidding. The only way to bid on the items that arrive the day of the auction is to attend in person. We STRONGLY encourage potential bidders to attend the auction in person because of these reasons.
We have no intention of replacing our live auction with a internet only auction. After all, how can you have a "real" auction without an auctioneer? By allowing on-line and/or absentee bidding, we are simply providing an opportunity for our customers who are unable to attend in person to participate in the auction.
The auction catalog listings and pictures of the auction inventory are added to the BIDSPOTTER website starting the week of the auction. About 30% of the items selling in the auction arrive too late to be listed on the Proxibid site and are not available for on-line bidding.
The simulcast does not change the way the auction is conducted. We do not allow "pre-bidding" via the internet, so internet bidders are bidding live just the same as if they were actually attending the auction in person.
Our internet bidding auction terms are listed on our BIDSPOTTER auction site and should be fully reviewed before bidding.
WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE BUYERS TO INSPECT ALL ITEMS PRIOR TO BIDDING DUE TO:
All items are sold in as-is, where-is condition with all faults. Items may not run, parts may be missing, or the item may have damage. All sales are final. There are no refunds for any reason.
Special Note: Out of country buyers need to make special arrangements on the BIDSPOTTER website to get registered to buy at least three days before the auction to be participate in the simulcast.
