AUCTION PAYMENT TERMS
So that sellers can sell their items at the lowest prices, we are no longer
charging the seller's a "selling commission fee " at the auction. This will allow
more sellers to bring a bigger selection of items to sell at much lower prices
since they will not be adding a selling commission to their selling prices.
There is a 10% buyer's premium added to all purchases.
Visa & MasterCard & Discover are all accepted with NO additional fees or charges.
BUYER REGISTRATION:
- Buyers must register for a buyer’s number.
- Driver’s license is required.
- There is NO charge for the buyer’s number

AUCTION PAYMENT TERMS:
10% BUYER'S PREMIUM ADDED TO ALL PURCHASES____
- Minimum of 25% down payment required on auction day with the balance to be paid on the Monday after the
auction from 1pm to 5pm or the following Saturday between 9:00
and 11:00 am. (Michigan time zone)
- TRAVELERS CHECKS in U.S. funds are accepted with pictured ID (driver's license). Cashier checks are NOT accepted.
- VISA, MASTERCARD AND DISCOVER cards are accepted with no additional charges or fees.
- NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS of any kind are
accepted unless you have a bank letter that uses
the words that
the bank irrevocably guarantees your check. The
letter must be on a bank letterhead, with current
date, written
to White Star Auction , include your account
number, and IRREVOCABLY GUARANTEE your check up to
a specific
amount. (Balance sheets, bank statements, and
letters of recommendations are NOT acceptable).
- All buying and selling must be done through the auction. People attempting to buy or
sell BY PRIVATE NEGOTATIONS will be removed and
banned from future auctions.
SALES TAX:
BY MICHIGAN STATE LAW:
6% Michigan sales tax is charged on ALL purchases (including the buyer's premium) from all buyers unless you have A COPY of your business sales tax license with you. No exceptions! Bring a copy of your license as we must have a copy of your tax license on file here.
We are required to follow Michigan State law regarding sales tax--if you have questions, call the Michigan State Sales Tax Division at 517-373-3190.

Parking is FREE! Plenty of room for trailers and trucks. 14
acres of parking available at the auction.

INSPECTION:
- Inspection auction day starting at 8:00 am and continuing
throughout the day.
- We urge early inspection on
auction day, as all sales are FINAL. INSPECTION IS
FOR YOUR PROTECTION! ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
NO REFUNDS. We want you to start the motors- Compression
checks are allowed on motors.
- All items are sold
as-is, where-is, without any implied or expressed warranties.
Inspect before
you buy. ALL SALES ARE FINAL-NO REFUNDS
- Some
new snowmobiles and trailers may be sold with a factory
warranty, which is provided by
the selling dealer. White Star Auction Inc.
is not a dealer for
any manufacturer, and we do not provide any warrantees on any items.

REMOVAL OF PURCHASES:
Pay in full for your purchases on auction day, and you can take your items the same day.
You can remove items during the auction and for one hour after the conclusion of the auction.

or the Saturday immediately after the auction from 9am to 11am.

A SPECIAL WELCOME TO OUR
CANADIAN BUYERS
It's a GREAT TIME to be buying in the United States with the current exchange rate!!
We are pleased to welcome you to our auctions.
We can store your purchases inside our facility for up to 12 days if you wish.
To buy snowmobiles here at the auction and transport them across the border,
here is what Canadian buyers from previous auctions this year have told us they do---
(all the buyers we have talked to have crossed at Port Huron, Michigan-
we assume this information is valid for the other entry points, too)
When they have bought snowmobiles at the auction, they said they go directly to the
Canadian Customs at the border. The Canadian buyers said as long as you
buy a snowmobile here with a registration, and you have the White Star Auction buyer invoice,
they said you should NOT go into the U.S. Customs line for "titled vehicles"--
-that line is only for vehicles with TITLES. That simplifies the process for you.
You will pay your Canadian fees at the Canadian Customs and head home!
If you buy an item with a TITLE (for example, a 4 wheeler ATV, a street bike, car, truck)
they said you need to submit copies of your invoice and title to the U.S. Customs office
where you will cross at least 72 hours prior to your crossing the border. Since the item has a title,
you will need to get into the line on the US Customs side marked for "titles vehicles".
FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If you need information about Canadian Border Customs requirements,
you can call the Canadian Border Services Agency at: (English) -- 1- 800- 461- 9999 or
(French) -- 1 - 800 - 959 - 2036or visit them at www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca For U.S. Customs requirements,
visit www.customs.gov or contact the port crossing directly at the location where you
will you will crossing into Canada---for example, Port Huron, Detroit, etc.....
* When you come to our auction, you will want to buy only those snowmobiles or ATVs
that have a state registration -or- Certificate of Origin -or- a title.
You must have one of these documents along with the White Star Auction "bill of sale"
in order to get across the border. The items in the auction are tagged with this information,
so you will know during inspection which items come with the required documents.
To receive a refund of the Michigan 6% sales tax
Canadian buyers must provide us with a copy of their
Canadian business sales tax license. We must have a copy of that license on file here
BEFORE the sales tax can be refunded.
SORRY, but if you do not have a business license, Michigan will NOT
allow us to refund any sales tax money. No exceptions.
Individual buyers ( the general public )
can NOT receive a sales tax refund on their purchases--per Michigan Law.

IN CANADA CAN ONLY BE SOLD TO CUSTOMERS WHO LIVE IN CANADA.
These trade restrictions do NOT apply to USED snowmobiles,
atv's,or any other type of USED motorsports items .

WHO SHIP CONTAINERLOADS OF SNOWMOBILES AND ATV'S BACK TO THEIR HOME COUNTRY.
We can work with your container shipping company/ exporter to load items into their
trucks with our forklifts by appointment. We do NOT have facilities for packing,
crating, disassembly of product,or other such activates. You should make arrangements
with your container shipping company/exporter to do these activates for you at their facility.
If you need a shipping company who can handle all your export and customs needs,
including pick up at our auction facility--almost all of our overseas buyers use this company:
